(Orange Leader - 23 November 1917) "WELLINGTON'S NEW CATHOLIC CHURCH. -o- .Sunday last marked the opening of the new R.C. Church at Wellington, which is one of the finest edifices in the west. The building was packed to suffocation at the 11 o'clock mass on Sunday morning, after the solemn blessing of the building had concluded."
