This former Rathcar West Uniting Church building is now privately owned.

An earlier wooden Methodist Church building had stood on this site. It had been constructed about 1870. In 1928 the Methodist Church/Wesleyan Chapel, a brick building at Homebush (about six kilometres away), was dismantled and rebuilt on the site, replacing the old wooden building.
