The first Church of England (Anglican) service to be held in Euroa was conducted in the Seven Creeks Hotel by th Rev Singleton .. .in 1854.(See Church Website: http://www.anglicaneuroa.org.au/st-paul-s-euroa).
The opening of the original St Paul's Anglican Church building is recorded in the Euroa Advertiser - 24 April 1885 - "St.Paul's Church of England - SPECIAL SERVICES In connection with the opening ceremonies of the above church were conducted on Sunday last by the Rev. C. T. Kent, the popular head of Albert Park Church. South Melbourne. Large congregations were present both morning and evening, and intense interest was manifested in the preacher's utterances".
