The St George's Anglican Church, Wagin is part of the Wagin/Dumbleyung Anglican Communities Model of Ministry and part of the Diocese of Bunbury. The church building, completed in 1902, was the first church in Wagin. It was built on land donated by the Piesse family, who were instrumental in the establishment of the church, as earlier Anglican worship was conducted in private homes. St George's was consecrated on 11/2/1902 by Rt Rev C O L Riley, Bishop of Perth. The first resident rector was the Rev F Bowen, from England. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 7/10/2018 & 8/8/2024.
