The St Matthew's Anglican Church, Shenton Park is in the Parish of Shenton Park and the Diocese of Perth.
The present church building was erected in 1932 for the Methodist church and replaced an earlier 1919 building near the current site. The church building was opened on 6/8/1932 by the Rev M R Maley, President of the Methodist Conference. Major additions/alterations were carried out on the building in the 1960s and 1990s. After the formation of the Uniting Church in 1977, the building became surplus to requirements and was sold to the Anglican Church. It was rededicated as St Matthew's Anglican Church in 1996/7. It replaced the former Anglican church building at 74-78 Keightly Road. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
