Pyramul Anglican Church - Former

The former Pyramul Anglican Church appears to no longer be functioning. No details have been located. A cemetery is located nearby. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 18/6/2021.

In part an article, relating a story that occured sometime earlier, is evidence of early services being held in the district. No denominational information.

'Education was not very wide spread at this period, but an earnest clergyman, Mr Bromley, had a little meeting house of slabs and bark erected, and in this he preached on Sundays and taught day-school and night-school during the week. It may be noted, by the way of contrast with the present benign system of education, that Mr Bromley's fees were one shilling and sixpence (1/6) per week. Mr Bromley labored amongst the Pyramulites for some years. His end was tragic. Starting out, bridle in hand, to catch his horse, he was never seen again.
