The St Joseph's Catholic Church, Stockinbingal is part of the Parish of Cootamundra and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The first St Joseph's church was opened in May 1902, but was soon too small. It was replaced by a church/school and convent, opened in February 1913 by Bishop J  Gallagher. The school and convent have since closed, with the building reverting to use as a church. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
