This building was previouly used by the St Boniface Catholic Church. It was dedicated on 20/10/1946 by Monsignor J English DD and Mondignor M Balwin of Ipswich.
The current building was completely redesignd from the Old Kalabar Catholic Church, which was erected about 40 years earlier adjacent to the Catholic cemetery. It is now used by the Fassifern Christian Church, which is affiliated with Australian Christian Churches.
