The Goombungee Christian Church is a member of Australian Christian Churches (formerly Assembly of God). The church building was erected on land donated by Stan & Mavis Kajewski. It was built by voluntary labour and opened and dedicated by Pastor H E Wiggins of Maryborough, State Chairman of the Assembly of God, on 25/8/1956.
