The former Toowoomba Baptist Church building is now privately owned. It was built about 1953. An earlier church building faced Herries Street, while the 1953 building faced Hume Street.The land was originally purchased in 1877. The congregation held their first services at this site in 1875, and the first Sunday School was held in the Oddfellow's Hall. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
