The former Peppers Plains Baptist Church closed in 1956, and the property is now privately owned. The original church was opened about 1890 and was also used as a school. The present church building was used from about 1924, until due to a decrease in congregational attendance, it closed in 1956. The congregation was served from Warracknabeal. Ministers who served the congregation were Revs. Nell, Ward, Linden, Dybing and Delaroo1. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 15/11/2018.
Paul McCrohan by email on 3/6/2021 advised: This church was the location for the first ever Wimmera Easter Convention back in 1937.
