The former Cessnock Baptist Church building was destroyed by fire on 12/2/2017. The timber building was about 104 years old, having opened in 1913. No other details are known about the former church. The Cessnock Baptist Church now worships in the former Cessnock Presbyterian Church building (see separate entry - Cessnock).
