Westbury Baptist Church

The Westbury Baptist Church is a member of the Tasmanian Baptists. The present church building was opened in June 2003, and was the first Baptist church established in Westbury. The need for this new church appears to have arose from the closing of smaller churches in nearby towns, giving rise for a more centrally located church building. Prior to the erection of the church building, Baptists began to meet in the Westbury Town Hall in the early 1990's. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
