(Sydney Morning Herald - 12 October 1925) "ROMAN CATHOLIC MEMORIAL CHURCH. - The Roman Catholic Memorial Church of Our Lady, Queen of Peace, Gladesville, was blessed and opened yesterday afternoon by Archbishop Kelly. Archbishop Kelly said that the new church was a memorial to the fallen Australian soldiers who had laid down their lives for liberty and religion. The building was completed and dedicated under the original name Our Lady of Peace, later to be changed to Our Lady Queen of Peace."
