The present All Saints Catholic Church, Kempsey was blessed and dedicated on 11/7/1922 by the Second Bishop of Lismore, Bishop John Carroll. The first Mass in the district was offered in 1846 by Father John Rigney. The first church building was a small wooden structure opened in East Kempsey in 1858.
