The St Michael's Catholic Church, Lane Cove is part of the Parish of Lane Cove and the Diocese of Sydney. The present St Michael's Church building was opened and blessed in 1976 by Cardinal Freeman. The first church building was opened on 24/8/1919, and is today the church hall. The second church building was opened on 26/9/1926, but was demolisehed to make way for the present building to cater for a larger congregation.
