The St Bartholomew's Catholic Church building was opened about 1851, although Mass is believed to have been celebrated earlier in Pierre Poidevin's Inn. For a time the building was also used as a school and public hall, resulting in numerous coins and smoking pipes being found when the floor was replaced in 1930. Regular services no longer appear to be conducted in the building. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 6/4/2021.
