St Vincent's Catholic Church

The St Vincent's Catholic Church, Wyangala is part of the Parish of Cowra and the Diocese of Bathurst. It was formally opened on 19/11/1954, but a severe storm after the opening caused a wall to fall and the first Mass was not celebrated until 5/12/1954. The first Catholic church in the village was erected in 1935 and sold after the dam was built to become an Anglican Church at Glenelg near Grenfell. No other details are known.
