The Holy Trinity-St Nicholas Russian Catholic Church, St Kilda East is part of the Russian Greek Catholic Church1, which is in communion with Rome. The church began in 1960 when the Chapel of Saint Nicholas was established in a large house in Kew, to serve Russian refugees from China, who had come to Australia in the 1950s. In 2011 the Russian Catholic Community moved to a new church home, Holy Trinity St Nicholas, in the building that was formerly the St Kilda East Uniting(Congregational) Church [see separate entry - 3183]. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 3/9/2022.
