The St Patrick's Catholic Church, Kilmore is part of the Parish of Kilmore and the Diocese of Melbourne. Early history of the church is limited, although it is believed the first building was a chapel on Brewery Hill, followed by a church/school, on governemt granted land, by 1854. Construction of the present church building began in 1856, but it was not finally completed and opened till 6/3/1871, by Bishop Goold. The parish priest at the time was Michael Farrelly, who arrived in 1870, and stayed until he died in 1906. The church building underwent significant restoration in 2012. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation asre invited. Photographs uploaded 4/3/2023.
