Christian Tabernacle Corowa - Former

The former Christian Tabernacle Corowa is long closed, and the property is now privately owned. The decision to purchase the land for a tabernacle building was made in 1891, with funds loaned for the purchase by Charles Johnson. Prior to the erection of the tabernacle, meetings were held in a building owned by Charles Johnson. The tabernacle was opened about 1893, and the photograph was taken in 1903. The church joined the Associated Churches of Christ in 1890. Officers of the church about that time were Wm Waters, E J Waters, F Collins (Evangelist), Charles Johnson.
