The Cowell Lutheran Church is part of the Lutheran District of South Australia-Northern Territory and the Lutheran Church of Ausralia. The present church building was opened on 3/3/1968. It replaced an earlier Baptist Church building purchased about 1932 and then used by the Lutheran's until it was sold in 1966.
