The St Luke's Lutheran Church, Snowtown is in the Lutheran District of SA-NT and part of the Lutheran Church of Australia. The earliest Lutheran services in Snowtown were held by Pastor R F Blaess, in 1951, but due to small numbers had moved to Lochiel by 1961. About the same time St John's Condowie had begun plans to establish a congregation in Snowtown. The first service being held in the Methodist Church buildings on 3/7/1960. Land was purchased in 1961 and the church building was dedicated on 18/12/1966. The Lutheran church is the only functioning church left in Snowtown (2025).
