Foundation Stone Notes: | A stone tablet records: Rev 1.8 [I am the Alpha & Omega] (and a Symbol relating to Alpha and Omega) - 1970. [The foundation stone was laid on 20/9/1970 by Pastor P A Scherer]. A plaque records: A once in a life time tornado hit Blyth at 3.40pm on 28th September 2016 and all the Trinity Church buildings were severely damaged. The church and hall lost their roofs which resulted in water damage to both buildings and contents. - By God's grace this Church was restored with new facilities and extension included. A thanksgiving service was held on 25th February 2018 to celebrate the rebuilding. - Build Your House on the Rock Matthew 7:24-25 (ESV).

The Trinity Lutheran Church, Blyth is part of the Lutheran District of SA-NT and the Lutheran Church od Australia. The present church building was opened on 21/2/1971. It replaced an earlier church building erected in 1909. The first Trinity Lutheran Church in the district opened in 1881 in the former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel. The present church building was re-dedicated on 25/2/2018 after it had been restored, following a tornado which damaged the buildings on 20/9/2016. No other details are known.
