The church building was formerly owned/used by the Methodist Church. The first Lutheran Service was held in this building on 8/10/1935. After many years of using the buiding the Lutheran Church made a decison to buy it on 23/4/1976. After renovations it was redicated on 8/10/1978 by Pastor Ross Schultz.
The church adoted the name 'St Mark's' on 28/2/1965. The church held its 80th Anniversary Service on 8/11/2015.
