The former Kainton (Clinton North) Methodist Church has closed. There is no record in the Uniting Church list of congregations in relation to this church, so it is taken to have closed prior to 1977, possibly 1955. The former church building was erected/opened about 1922, for the Methodist Church, and replaced the former Clinton Bible Christian Church building erected in 1886, which formally became the Kainton Primary School in 1915. The Bible Christian Church became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1900. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
