This former Fortitude Valley Methodist Church property is now privately owned.
The first church building on the site was opened on 26/3/1871. The current church building was opened on 13/1/1889. The church closed in 1977, with a final service held on 27th February.
The church originally became known as the Fortitude Valley Methodist Church following the unification of the various Methodist groups - Wesleyans, Primitive Methodists, Bible Christians and United Free Methodists in 1898.
