The former Trafalgar Methodist Church property is now privately owned. An earlier weatherboard building had been used prior to the erection of the brick building. It was relocated to the former Darnum Musical Village as an exhibit. The village is now closed and the buildings converted into B&B accommodation. The weatherboard building had been known as the Boolarra Wesleyan Church - 1891 to 1896 and as the Trafalgar Methodist Church - 1896 to 19331, when the brick building was erected. (see photograph no. 3). The Rev Abraham Hambly was the minister of the church for about twelve months 1902-3 (his son was W F Hambly [1908-1972] a biblical scholar and college principal). More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 3/7/2020.
