Derrinal Wesleyan Methodist Church - Former

The former Derrinal Wesleyan Methodist Church building is long gone. The remnants of the foundation are all that remains. The original building was erected about 1862 and sold for removal in 1904. Originally there was a street, Church Street, going past the building but over the years the road became unused and under adverse possession became part of the surrounding farmland. The closest road to it is Old Bendigo Road, Derrinal, but the site cannot be seen from that road. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
