The former Clunes Primitive Methodist Church building was erected about 1868. It replaced an earlier chapel built about 1859/60, and located in Hill Street. The Primitive Methodists united with the Wesleyans in 1899, which later joined the Methodist Union and the Bible Christians, to form what became the Methodist Church. The building was surplus to requirements and was closed and sold in 1908, to the Masonic Lodge. No other details are known. More historical informaton/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 27/12/2021.
