Wood Wood Methodist Church - Former

The former Wood Wood Methodist Church closed in 1971, and the property is now privately owned. A Methodist ministry began about 1936, in the local school building, with the church opening its own building in 1939. To meet the needs of the growing congregations activities, in 1952 the disused Methodist church building in Ultima was acquired and relocated to the site. It was attached to the rear of the existing building to serve as a dormitory. The church closed in 1971, due to the cost of maintenance.
