Thornlands Bible Church

The Thornlands Bible Church. A brief history - 

• "Commenced as a bush Sunday School in 1949 with about 20 children and three teachers.
• This ministry was an outreach from the Redland Bay Baptist Church.
• Numbers of children increased and the coverage area grew over the next 25 years.
• Regular Sunday church services and mid-week meetings commenced in September 1973.
• All ministries including preaching, teaching, marriages, baptisms, funerals, maintenance and administration have been provided gratis by congregation members. We have no paid staff.
• Facilities have been gradually developed – from an open-sided army style hut, to a multi-purpose complex of buildings, including a comfortable airconditioned chapel." (Extract from https://thornlandsbiblechurch.org/history - a longer history is also available at this website.)
