The Evangelical Formosan Church of Sydney began in 1987 when a number of families started to arrange meetings, independently. The church was formally established on1/4/1990 and the Willoughby church building was acquired on 31/3/2000. The congregation moved into the Willoughby building in November 2000, and services then began. A new church bulding was acquired on 30/4/2015, at 10 Carlotta Street Artarmon, to cater for the development needs of the church's ministries. This church has also planted about five other churches throughout Sydney.
The Evangelical Formosan Church of Sydney, Willoughby congregation has now relocated to 10 Carlotta Street, Artarmon.
