Living Stone Evangelical Free Church of Australia

The Living Stone Evangelical Free Church of Australia, West Pennant Hills, was formally established in September 1998. It was a church plant from the original Chinese Evangelical Church in Sydney, formed in October 1987 in Chatswood. The genesis of the church began when missionaries from the American Evangelical Society began ministry in China in the late 1880s. When migrants from the 1980s began to settle in Sydney they brought their faith with them and began the current ministry.
