Foundation Stone Notes: | (The Daily Telegraph 9 November 1885) "WAVERLEY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. On Saturday afternoon Mrs. Graham, of Strathearn, laid the corner-stone of the Presbyterian School-Church now being built on an excellent site in Victoria Street, Charing Cross, Waverley." The foundaton stone of the present building was laid by Mrs William Grahame on 8/5/1897. The text on the foundation stone is not known. Information/photographs are invited. |

The former Grahame Memorial Presbyterian Church, Waverley was opened on 5/2/1898. It replaced an earlier church/school building opened in 1885.
After Union, in 1977, it became the Grahame Memorial Uniting Church, and is now used by the Jubilee Church. The Jubilee [International] Church was founded in 1997 and began using this building about 2006. More historical information/photographs of the former/present church(es)/congregation(s) are invited.
