A plaque on the church records: Chalmers Presbyterian Church - Built in 1883 by the Germanton Parish - Minister ~ Rev John Walker - Session Clerk ~ John Ross (Senior) - Elders ~ John Burns and William Bunyan - Used by Presbyterian, Anglican & Methodist Congregations. Many Families attending all 3 Services & Sunday Schools. - Restored by the Cookardinia Community 2004. 'For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son...whosoever believes in him will not die but have eternal life'.

The Cookardinia (Chalmers) Presbyterian Church is no longer conducting regular church services. Services commenced in Cookardinia in 1879, and was part of the Holbrook Presbyterian Church until 1977, when, with the formation of the Unitng Church, the church became part of the Henty Parish.
