The Ulverstone Presbyterian Church of Eastern Australia (PCEA) congregation formally commenced on 11/9/1965, when it became a congregation under the jurisdiction of the Victorian Presbytery of the PCEA. Previously the congregation had been part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (or Reformed Evangelical Church) a church which had commenced in Tasmania a few years earlier on the 28/9/1961.1 The building was opened about 1977.
