The Stanmore Seventh-Day Adventist Church building, erected mainly by volunteer labour, was opened and dedicated on 24/4/1898. Before the building was erected, the church met in local halls in the surrounding suburbs. Extensions to the building were opened and dedicated in 1952. Stanmore is one of the oldest Adventist church buildings in Sydmey, and on 1/9/2018, celebrated its 120th anniversary.
