The St Andrew's Uniting Church building was opened on 27/8/1905 for the Presbyterian Church. The Presbyterian congregation began on the 16th August 1862 under the leadership of the Rev James Love. The present church building was erected between 1902-1905, under the supervision of architect George Payne, who had won the design competition.
