The first Wondai Uniting Church (formery Methodist) building was opened on 3/10/1908. It was built without stumps and took about two weeks to erect. The present building was opened on 9/8/1914. It has subsequently been extended and renovated over the years. Some significant alterations were  undertaken in 1994, which marked the 80th anniversary of the opening of the second church building in 1914.
