A plaque records:

26th January, 1907 - First service held on this site.

13th May, 1911 - Original nave was dedicated. A temporay hall was located under the building.

28th November, 1931 - Original church was lowered and front porch and vestry added. Exrensive interior re-modelling completed. New hall erected.

6th October, 1957 - Further re-modelling of interior of church.

17th April, 1966 - Front porch enclosed and sanctuary re-modelled.

18th February, 1971 - Installation of pipe organ.

12th October, 1976 - Queensaland Methodist Conference approved re-naming of the church as St Luke's Uniting Church.

24th April, 1977 - Brick veneer of building and extensions to porch and re-modelling of sanctuary. Dedicated by Rev M G Wilmshurst, Secretary-General of the Methodist Church of Australasia.
