The Emu Park Uniting Church is part of the Presbytery of Central Queensland and the Uniting Church Synod of Queensland. The building was originally constructed as a billiard hall in 1916 by Mr Laughlan. It was popular with young men as it did not have to close at the same time as hotels, and people under the age of 21 were not allowed into licensed premises. When many of the young men enlisted for WWI, it was forced to close. It was purchased in 1919 by the Methodist Church for 250 [pounds]. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 18/4/2020 & 6/11/2024.
