The Nyngan Uniting Church is part of the Macquarie Darling Presbytery and the Synod of NSW & ACT. Early Methodist services were held in the Oddfellows Hall, until a weatherboard church building was erected in 1894. A number of early preaching places were also supported from Nyngan, including Wyoming, Burdenda, Woodlands and Landsdown. In 1958 the present brick church building was erected. When the Uniting Church was formed and the Presbyterians joined with the Methodists, their church building, erected about 1960, became the pre-school. The current church hall was opened and dedicated on 12/12/1982 by the Rev Jack Brand. The new hall replaced the original small wooden building which had served as the church building until 1958.(Sourced from: https://www.nynganuniting.church/history). More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 7/8/2021.
