Clayton Church of Christ

The Clayton Church of Christ, began in a private home on 4/2/1951, but withing six months had outgrown the home and had to move to a public hall. The present site was purchased in 1951, and the first church building was dedicated on 24/4/1954. Doug Holloway was the first pastor, appointed in 1955. An extension was added to the hall and a chapel was erected in 1975. These buildings were demolished in 2009, to make way for larger facilities, to meet the needs of the congregation.
