The former Smithton Uniting Church has now closed, and the property was sold in 2017. Early Methodist services began about 1907 and  were conducted in various locations and buildings, and then in the Presbyterian Church building from 1910, The church held its first service in its own building, without windows, on 6/10/1917. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 13/4/2023.
