Sacred Heart Catholic Church

The Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Calwell is part of the St Francis Of Assisi Parish Centre and School, in the Parish of South Tuggeranong and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The church building was erected on a site close by, and moved to its current location in 1988, to make way for further local development. The church building was erected in 1902, by voluntary labour, and was the first church built in the Tuggeranong Valley. A Melkite Mass is also celebrated in the building each Sunday.
