All Saints' Anglican Church

The foundation stone was laid by Marianne Mort (second wife of T S Mort) on 18/3/1880. No formal Foundation Stone details are known. Information/photographs are invited.

A plaque records: To the glory of God - and in memory of Thomas Sutcliffe Mort - and his wife Theresa Shepheard Mort - this church was erected in 1880...He died in 9th May 1878 of illness contracted in ministering  to - the needs of one of his workmen and was laid to rest in the - cemetery of the Bodalla Estate he so dearly loved.

A plaque records: To the glory of God - and in memory of - James Benson - Rector of Bodalla 1925~28 - Missionary in New Guinea 1937~56 - Canon of - St Peters and Pauls Cathedral - Dogura 1947~1956.

A plaque records: Sacred to the memory of - Edith Emily Collett - Verger and a devoted  - worshipper in this church - from 1934 ~ 1954 - Erected by - her friends in this parish.

A plaque records: In memory of Robert Bowman - aged 82 - for 35 years a warden of this church - "Thy will be done" - This cross is placed here by a few of his friends.

A plaque records: In memory of - Guy Ebsworth - for forty five years a director - of The Bodalla Co. Limited - Erected in grateful recognition - of his services to Bodalla - by The Bodalla Co Limited - and members of the Mort Family - in England and Australia.
