The Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Burrumbuttock is one of five preaching places in the Buttumbuttock Parish. Holy Cross was opened and dedicated on 9/12/1888. A closing service, for the old church building, 4 miles away, was held on the same day (see separate entry - site marker only - 2642). The church celebrated its centenary in 1988.
