Ardlethan Methodist Church - Former

The former Ardlethan Methodist Church, was originally located at cnr Mithul and Barellan Street, but was moved to its current location, next to the Ardlethan Uniting (former Presbyterian) Church, when the land was sold. Methodist services had been held in the district prior to 1903. Although land was acquired for a church building about 1908, it was not erected/opened until about 1922. In the meantime services were held in the Presbyterian church building from about 1912. In 1966 united services began with the Presbyterian congregation, and in 1974 the building was relocated to its present site. Both churches became one with the formation of the Unitng Church.
