The Wesley Uniting Church, Broken Hill is part of the Macquarie Darling Presbytery and the Synod of NSW & ACT. The church was opened on 9/12/1888 by the Rev James Haslam, Chairman of the South Australia Methodist Conference. Over the years a number of other church congregations have amalgamated with Wesley as they have closed. These congregations have included: St Andrew's Uniting Church, Railwaytown, Oxide Street and Thomas Street1. The building has been renovated and additions made to it, during its years of service, to meet the needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 18/8/2021.
